Jeff is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Mowery & Schoenfeld. With a strong background in both tax and law, Jeff provides critical insights into M&A transactions, ensuring legal and tax considerations are seamlessly integrated into the deal structure. As a leader, he is committed to building up those around him by creating value for clients and employees of the Firm.
He holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; a Juris Doctorate of Law from Loyola University; and a Master of Laws in Taxation from DePaul University.
Jeff is an active member in many industry organizations, such as AICPA and Vistage. In 2014, he was elected to the University of Illinois Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame. Jeff is a two-time honoree of the Chicago Titan 100 and was previously named Managing Partner Elite by Accounting Today. He is the North American Regional Chairperson of Geneva Group International (GGI) Tax Practice Group.
When not at work, you might find Jeff enjoying shows with his wife and four adult children, at the gym or traveling.
